What People Say About Us....

Have you ever listened to someone play and you instantly you go to a certain time and place? Rick and Marilyn do this. They are folk singers that bring you along with them to a place of social change and folk songs. Their songs are timeless in a way that they seem just as relevant today. Their chemistry is amazing. Check them out if you get a chance! Kara Keeler, Photographer

What an easy welcoming sound these two artists share with their audience... Carol R.

Almost Unplugged

Summer is the time when we start getting outside and playing music. Busking will start as soon as it warms enough to play guitar without gloves. We are making plans with Farmers Markets. Applying to street festivals (Does your town have one? We would love to play for it!).  Talking to venues about earlier times to feature original singer/songwriter type music (we know that when it get to about 9pm, dancing to a band is what folks prefer to do!!!.... but LISTENING around dinner, or for a drink on a Sunday afternoon is cool.... Tell YOUR favorite bar/eatery!!)

One very special gig is coming up for us next month... "Almost Unplugged" at the Valatie Community Theater on April 21, at 8pm. The room is a great space, designed for sound, and draws an engaged audience of music lovers. We hope to add YOU to the folks who love this space. We will be sharing the stage with:

Eric Margan
John Parsons
Kurt and Cheryl Henry
Micheal O'Leary
Richard Kopyscianski

The evening is hosted by Marty McDermott. Please mark your calenders now and prepare for a wonderful night of great local music makers. We are POSITIVE you will enjoy your evening...
